Mark Douglas

Mark is an organisational psychologist and established Ethos Consulting in 1991.
Mark has a keen interest in organisational behaviour and decision making within groups. Mark brings to his facilitation skills the proficiency and experience of a qualified mediator. Mark is particularly skillful at facilitating effective group decision-making under difficult circumstances.
Mark's qualifications include BA (Psych), Grad Dip Teaching, He is also an Accredited Mediator with LEADR (Lawyers Engaged in Alternative Dispute Resolution) and a Team Management Systems Master Trainer.
Prior to his work at Ethos Consulting, Mark worked in business consulting for the South Australian Government and before that he worked at the Loughborough University of Technology, United Kingdom as a research psychologist. In this capacity, Mark worked with the Tavistock Institute on socio-technical systems in organisational change.
Mark has consulted on over 1,000 assignments with over 250 clients across Australia. He has a keen ability to understand the dynamics of organisations, management teams and organisation culture. Mark has worked across the professional services, research and science, community services and manufacturing.
Mark is one of a select group of facilitators across Australia to facilitate in deliberative polling though Issues Deliberations Australia. In this capacity, Mark has been part of the facilitation team for:
- The South Australian Economic Summit;
- The South Australian Constitutional Convention; and
- National Muslim Australia
